Comfortable beds and great air conditioning.
I experienced numerous difficulties . The staff had a poor command of English and didn't make an effort to assist us with our questions. We were frustrated when we found ourselves locked out of our room and had to wait until the morning to regain access to our belongings, very inconvenient.

It was an original building, the rooms were extremely spacious with a larger bed. Food was fresh, staff was nice and welcoming.

The final verdict on this
The hotel is a small gem nestled in the heart of the city, close to the Pantheon and the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. The staff were accommodating. Though the rooms are compact, they are well-equipped and feature lovely bedding. I definitely plan to return!

The rooms are small but well distributed to be comfortable and functional. Our room had a mini bar, desk, closet, comfortable bathroom with large shower. Creams and soaps with a very good smell. Everything was clean and very quiet. We had air conditioning that was very appreciated in hot weather. The television had the international channel of rtve. The bed was very comfortable with three types of pillows. The staff was very attentive, willing to help and try to make us feel better (we only spoke a little English and no French). We were able to leave the suitcases on the last day (our flight left in the afternoon) and they labelled the bags before putting them away. As a hotel it is located near public transport and on foot you can reach many of the places to visit. Quiet street but with restaurants, other hotels and cinemas (so there were always people enjoying their leisure time). I would repeat without hesitation

I loved the comfy Classic Single Room and the fantastic air conditioning, a lifesaver on those warm nights. The garden area was peaceful, offering lovely spots to unwind with a book or sip coffee. The only downside was a minor barrier at the front, but it didn't overshadow my great experience 😊

Excellent location. It's a major plus that covers all the drawbacks.
Small rooms, staff.

The location is great. A few steps from the Jardin de Luxembourg and the Pantheon. The rer station is very close and therefore makes it very convenient when transporting your luggages to the airport! In general, a fair price considering the location and the overall market in Paris. Nicely decorated courtyard to have breakfast.
The bed was not confortable. The twin bed is actually two singles put together. Also, I would have appreciated to be provided with an iron. However, I was told that you have to go downstairs with your clothes, in a sort of closet, to use an iron and irontable. By the way, there is a computer in that same "closet" and if somebody is using it, well, you better come back later because it is way to small to accomodate two persons! Good and nice hotel but definetly not a good choice as a business traveler.

The entrance and bar area was very attractive. Also the front of the hotel looked good and it was situated in a quiet street.
The delux twin room was tiny and had the smallest bathroom. I questioned this and they said hotel rooms in Paris are all small - really! The lift was not working and no one offered to carry our suitcases up the uncarpeted windy staircase to our room.I paid the bill for our 3 night stay on the monday as I had to return to London but when my daughter checked out the on the tuesday they tried to charge her for an extra night - she was very upset! It was also exspensive. I will not go back there to stay.

This was our second stay at Le Clos Medicis. The beds are marvelous as is the location. Quite convenient walking distance from the metro, Le Jardin de Luxembourg, restaurants, Le Sorbonne, etc., and the staff are extremely accomodating.

I stayed in a Classic Double Room for 4 nights. The room was super comfy with heavy curtains that blocked out the morning light, great air conditioning, and a really nice shower. It felt clean and fresh. Plus, they provided bottled water, a nice touch. Really enjoyed my stay!

The room carpet is dirty. It looks like it has been here for ages. Smell is pretty bad. I feel like I was sleeping in the smoking room. There are four hotel receptionists I met. Two frenchmen are excellent. The Chinese one is okay. The French girl is the worse one. I do not think she could smile. She looks arrogant and thinks guests should be smiling to her. She should be fired right away.

Reception staff were very friendly and very helpful. WiFi was free and reliable. Room windows opened to the courtyard (where you can have a nice little breakfast), which led to impromptu conversations with your neighbors, creating a fun, communal feel. Rooms were clean and chic and exactly the right size for a city visit (when you know you're going to spend all your time exploring, not in the room). Location was ideal - steps away from Luxenbourg Gardens, and the Pantheon is just around the corner. St. Germain only a five minute walk away.
One of the elevators was out of order during our stay and my friend had to climb four flights of tightly winding stairs to his room, which was inconvenient, especially when he had to carry his luggage down for checkout. Cost of the room seemed a bit high, but we were there during the peak season.
